SAGA Returns to the Stage in 2026 with Limited EngagementsMarch 31, 2026 SAGA is thrilled to announce a return to live performances in 2026 with a series of carefully selected engagements across Canada. Dates will be announced shortly.Frontman Michael Sadler is warmly welcomed back to the stage following his extended recovery. He rejoins guitarist Ian Crichton and keyboardist Jim Gilmour in the core line-up. A few updates to the touring line-up have also been made for these shows. Mike Thorne remains the primary drummer, though fans may see the familiar and highly capable Brad Park stepping in for selected dates, as he has done successfully in the past. On bass, Mike Borkosky returns to handle those duties after performing with the band on the 2024 tour. As the band welcomes Mike back, it also marks the end of Dusty Chesterfield’s time with SAGA. The band sincerely appreciates Dusty’s contributions and the way he stepped in admirably whenever needed. We wish him all the best in his future musical endeavors. The guys are eager to share these moments with our SAGA family and friends and can‘t wait to see you all there! Further details on dates, venues, and tickets will be shared soon. Thank you for the continued support, SAGA
A Message from the Band We regret to inform our fans that all live performances are suspended until further notice as our lead singer, Michael Sadler, continues his recovery from cancer surgery in September 2024, with additional treatments and procedures ahead. Michael’s health is our top priority, and we deeply appreciate your support and understanding during this time. Additionally, guitarist Ian Crichton remains absent from the band due to personal matters following a foot/leg injury in 2024. His absence has led to the continued inclusion of Dusty Chesterfield on guitar (previously bass) and Michael Borkosky on bass, who have stepped up admirably. We also thank Brad Park for filling in on drums for several shows last year in Canada/USA, supporting drummer Mike Thorne during his temporary absence for family commitments. We’re grateful for your continued love and patience. Stay tuned for updates as we navigate these challenges together.
*Stockholm is Confirmed! Previous tickets sold for this date will be honored by the venue.
